This video is interesting, but here's the line that makes it relevant: "They're just caught up in a 1950's mindset of better living through chemistry."

The phrase "Better Living Through Chemistry" is a variant of a DuPont advertising slogan, "Better Things for Better Living...Through Chemistry." DuPont adopted it in 1935 and was their slogan until 1982 when the "Through Chemistry" part was dropped.

My how times have changed. I can't imagine company today boasting about using animal testing, although many cosmetic companies are still running tests on animals.
